In January, FHWA issued a final rule amending its Buy America regulations to eliminate the agency’s longstanding Manufactured Products General Waiver (effective since 1983) and establish new requirements for manufactured products used in federally funded highway and bridge projects. The final rule was delayed by three days and will now take effect March 20, 2025.

FMC initiates investigation into international maritime chokepoints to determine whether foreign entities are creating unfavorable shipping conditions. Comments due 05/13/25
